Chapters 8-10 Frankenstein

In the beginning of chapter 8, they go to trial for Justine to prove her innocence. Justine defends herself and explains when she was founded at a farm near the scene was only a coincidence she was out there looking for him too. She lived with the Frankensteins for many years and cared for all of them like they were her own family she would never want to hurt him. She pleads not guilty and says for her peers to defend her personality and if they still disagree they can sentence her to death. Despite the good comments about her the judge over rules and Justine is sentence to the death penalty. In the next chapter it discusses how everyone is heart broken that Justine was killed and Victor was in the most pain because he just had a feeling they got the wrong person and she died for no reason. It also hit Elizabeth hard she was no longer the smiling always happy type of person anymore she was dull and depressed. Victor just knew he had to get out of there and hopefully track down the monster and destroy it once and for all. In the next chapter he moves in the mountains and woodsy area where he is more isolated. When he is at the point of giving up he finally spots him, the creature he created. Victor was ready to go in a bloody fight and make the creature pay for the innocent lives he took. However, the creature says it is his own fault for abandoning him and not doing well as standing by his side. He’s the master and he shall serve him, but his duty was to protect him and Victor didn’t play his role as master. The world is very hurtful and judging place that doesn’t accept new and unique things which is why the creature asks for Victor’s help. If he protects him he will play well as his servant and right when Victor was going to ended it all and fight him instead the creature begs to be heard out first and listen to his story before doing anything so rash. I think it is good we will get to hear his side of the story and  that Victor gave him a chance to speak freely like we should be able to do.
